I thought Belgrade was a great city to go and visit.  There are lots of old buildings, monuments and statues from a long past and sometime volitile past 

Lots of places to sit and dring coffee, have food or a good beer

I especially enjoyed walking around the Fortress with is free to visit.  There are other attractions in the Fortress to see also, like a collection of weapons from numerous wars the Serbians have been involved in. 

Well worth a stop off, glad I went
