This pretty little town sits on top of a steep cliff with commanding views of the Mediterranean Sea. White-washed stone houses have blue doorways adorned with brass studs. Flowers are prolific as they cover most doors and walls, and flowing vines grow freely among the cobbled lanes. It is an artist's haven to paint the surrounding beauty. It is reputed that the town was an inspiration for Paul Klee and the writer, Andre Gide.
