The Turkish Bridge is the entrance to this stone fortress which was built in the 16th century by Italian military engineers. Further fortifications were undertaken in the 17th century, making the structure a polygon shape. Nine towers are connected by thick walls with a huge central courtyard. A 40-m winch burrows through the cliff to bring fresh water to the well. The fortress was the scene of many battles and the museum gives an overview of the history of Ukraine and Kamyanets-Podilskyy. It is known as one of the seven wonders of Ukraine.
