Wills, at receiption was very friendly she took my wife and I to a free concert in the park (Every Wednesday, arranged by volunteers to benefit local charities). She also took time to chat with us before making recommendations.. 

Bourbon area in The French Quarter was very popular but Frenchman Street; we felt;  was far better (great music and slightly cheaper).  

Great place, younger crowd but they all semed wiling to chat with us old F%@#.
