Quite a few long days on the road, quite a few stops for bike repairs, quite a few tandoori chickens and butter naans.

We proceeded past wide loads

One sided loads. Why would anybody keep driving with a load like this?

A sale-yard for cows (as far as we could work out). Torb tried to sell me off for 100000 Rupees

At the request of the police we made a stop at a hospital to give a little bit of love to a fellow tourist who had a run in with a tractor, or was it a truck? Not sure. Whatever it was, it made the newspapers

We were in turn given a bit of love by the sweet family in the bed next to the foreign patient. They fed me from what little they had - always very humbling.

And that brings us to just a few hundred kilometers south of Darjeeling, the home of the world famous tea. Or is it just Australia famous?

From here we apply for permits to visit the state of Sikkim, the northern most state of eastern India, surrounded by the mighty Himalayas. I'm excited. RIP Big Kev.
