We've bought a bike!Finally after much deliberation and consideration, we finally bought ourselves a bike.
Our weapon of choice is the highly regarded BMW 1200GS. (Definitely more money than we hoped to spend but hopefully we recover more from the resale).
After we left Lincoln and all the beauty that surrounds it, we headed for Steve's step-brothers place in Nottingham. We stopped off along the way and got to their place at around 5pm. It was a lovely ride and nice to be in a family home with good home cooking, and we mean good! We spent the weekend with them and had some great bike rides with them on the Saturday around the Derbyshire downs, very nice roads and very popular bike roads.
Well it's been a while since we last wrote and although not much has happened a lot really has.
We left Newton Stewart with most of our belongings dry and although it was still drizzling we were much more optimistic about our travels. Our aim today was to try and reach near the Trossachs.
