Here I am 7 days into the trip and finally able to get my electronic ineptitude functioning due to the help of Carlos Huerta of Puebla, Mexico. I left Tucson on the 1998 goldwing on Saturday Dec 15th. Cool but not uncomfortable. The crossing at Nogales was an easy pass through over some bumps and stayed thenight in Hermosillo. Well folks here I am a week out of Wisconsin and finally being able to get my blog started due to the help Carlos Huerta of Puerta Mexico. This going to be a quick overview, but you will have to wait for the journal for the good stuff. After today I will try to give somewhat more detail each day. The good fathers Bob Kose and Nick Widhammer were congenial hosts. The Sarurday Dec 15th passage through Nogales was quick and easy and I stayed that evening in Hermosille. Weather was cool but not uncomfortable. Really expected to see a couple bikers but none in sight. A good part of the four way was under construction so progress was a bit slow.
Sunday Dec 16th Having continued difficulty with the electronics. Computer and cell phone have issues. Didn’t think that I would be able to buy a SIM card on Sunday but found out later that I could have. Pretty sunshiny day and great scenery.
