Little India is the centre of a large Indian community, has highly painted houses, and vibrant scenes. Small shops sell all types of wares, including gold, clothing, and spices. China Town is about 3 km south of Little India. It has significant historical and cultural elements with restored shops selling virtually anything. You can visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Jamae Mosque, Chinatown Heritage Centre, and Sri Mariamman Temple, to name but a few of the sights.
