The tidying up of loose ends..So here's May '07 and I'm a VFR hooligan again!
After most of a week loitering in Slovenia we were flown home(courtesy of Footman James)to the saddest sight of the trip,a pile of bike luggage in my kitchen with flight tags on them!
Ness buzzed off back to Oz(something to do with winter...)and the bike sat at Vito's garage where it wintered happily.
Enquiries to hauliers evinced the information that returning the bike to me would cost around £500 so that went on hold...until Vito emailed me to say he knew a Boris who drove to England on occasion!
Subsequent text-speak with Boris resulted in a meetup at Milton Keynes and a very happy me reunited with my bike(of 6 years now)
Back home I squirted a blast of easy start in the airbox and....instant life!It's run like a proper hooligan since then,not missing a beat so far - baffling!Bit of a time bomb but I'll look for a replacement spark unit and ride into the sunset!
