Second day of rain

Lorenz and Stephen jetted off to check out Shed 20 and walk and I hung back at the tent and had a massive feast with the long awaited fried cheese dish, that ended up being quite bland- but hey you have to try these things!NESS: (Sun 2-7) Well yesterday it rained and we chilled out in Dolenjske Toplice near Novo Mesto. We met a chap called Stephen who was in a car with French numberplates, lived in Switzerland and had a Lancashire accent. A nice surprise and his pleasant company was appreciated.

Lorenz and Stephen jetted off to check out Shed 20 and walk and I hung back at the tent and when I ventured out had a massive feast with the long awaited fried cheese dish, that ended up being quite bland- but hey you have to try these things! When the chaps returned I had educated myself about what shed 20 was; plus a bit about the area and the Partisans, and we went out for cake and alcohol before it chucked it down. An early night ensued...all parties disappointed that our social life was weather dependant while in tents.

We are now heading North East, into Ptuj, before heading out to Croatia, Poland and Romania, depending on the weather.

Hopefully the sun will find us again soon. Luckily Kava (coffee) is plentiful and not too costly so we will simply take it easy whilst the roads are wet.
