Henk and Mike will be going up the Gibb River Track in a couple of days so Robin and the Hog have gone on.
Bikes are going well. Mikes needs chain and sprockets now. Hard to find up the west coast so have phoned ahead to Broom Honda dealer to order parts. Henk and Mike say that the Transalps are tough enough for the job so far. Enough power for overtaking( interesting considering their bikes back home are a Suzuki 1200 Bandity thing and a Triumph Sprint 955). Mike is finding the Transalp a little tall and always on tip toes when stopped. Will lower the suspension in Broome. Bikes averaging about 300km / tank ( 6.6l/100km). Fuel price seems to vary but is relatively expensive c.f. NZ. Will try to catch up with Mikes brother tonight.
