Germany and England are behind us, we landed in Sydney yesterday, after an 18 hr flight and validated our new visas. For the next 2 weeks, we will be spending time with family and friends, and sorting out relevant paperwork, including collecting together the documents that will allow us to import our bikes into Australia at the end of our trip.
We bought our tickets at the last minute, picking them up in London the day before we flew!! There were 2 reasonable deals, we went for the cheaper ticket, giving us the option of not using the last flight back to London. Instead, we could buy a ticket from somewhere in South America giving us more flexibility in terms of time and destination.
After all the stress of the last few weeks, we can now relax for a while meet up with a few old friends and begin to plan our route.
