One rider, the intrepid Nelson Biddle, is going cross-country. His route will take him from Townsend, Tennessee, across the heartland of America and all the way to the Koella fishing camp in Alaska.

Maybe Chopper's untimely demise brought us bad weather karma. Whatever the reason, we drove through a lot of rain on Day 2. Yesterday, we decided to slowly meander back to Nashville by putting in limited milage and stopping frequently to enjoy whatever roadside attractions we came across. So what did we do? We had another late start today. We left our motel at around 8:30 and went out in search of a real breakfast. Motel continental breakfasts are nice and all but we needed more. The one thing we didn't need, after yesterday, was gravy.
After breakfast we set out for the Truman Presidential Museum and Library.
