On July 2, 2004, three brave and daring men will embark on a motorcycle journey of epic proportions. An Odyssey of sorts.

One rider, the intrepid Nelson Biddle, is going cross-country. His route will take him from Townsend, Tennessee, across the heartland of America and all the way to the Koella fishing camp in Alaska.

Cleve Smith and Bo Johnson have less ambitious plans. These two lightweights will join up with Nelson in Nashville and accompany him for seven days. They will then turn around and take seven days returning home.

The route includes west Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa and South Dakota.

Naturally, an endeavor such as this requires a complete historical record.

Our journal will begin on July 2, 2004, when Nelson hooks up with Cleve and Bo. Look forward to a scintillating account of the seven days Bo and Cleve spend with Nelson and the seven days they take returning to Nashville.

The cast of characters:

Nelson Biddle. Snappy dresser, philosopher-king, lobbyist. Rides a Harley.

Cleve Smith. Parrothead, raconteur, semi-retired lobbyist. Rides a Harley.

Bo Johnson. Adult ADD poster child, nicotine gum addict, lobbyist. Rides a BMW.
