S02E09 - Wakhan Corridor: The winding path along the Panj River Valley
Country
Country
Buckle up! Lots of dash-cam clips of the Pamir Highway towards the Wakhan Corridor! The Panj River Valley that divides Afghanistan from Tajikistan for hundreds of kilometres is full of wild foxtail flowers, has impervious cliffs and is one of the bumpiest tracks in all of Asia. We also visit a few Zoroastrian temples and are wonderfully greeted by local kids.
* Cover picture is from the Panj Valley (37.699302, 71.547462) 30 km north of Khorog, when the river smooths out into large, sandy plains.
