18. Space Needle & Canada
Canada - Mountains, Trees, Rivers and Wide Open SpacesMy last day in Seattle I visited the Space Needle built in 1962, good views.
And if you use your imagination you can see anything you want.
Downtown Seattle and if you use your imagination you can see Mt. Ranier in the background
The Docks
Blue skies, white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, use your imagination

Monorail
Seattle to Quesnel (silent 's'), long and enjoyable ride.
Went through Canadian Customs at Abbottsford, they asked the usual questions
about Drugs, Weapons, Money, The Bike, then gave me a 6 month visa, no
charge, took about 20 minutes, easy.
Started to head East and the weather improved the further I moved away from
the coast.
Turned North at Hope, winding roads following rivers for the most part, lots of
tunnels at first, then it flattened out, very pretty, mountains, rivers and trees, and
more trees as far as the eye can see, a sea of trees.
Seattle to Quesnel
Lots of bikes out for a weekend ride

Pretty Flowers
Quesnel to Fort Nelson
Another long ride, the first 5 hours through mountains after that it flattened out
on the Alaska Highway
My GPS lost power for a short while while riding and managed to delete most of
the track. I did not ride in a straight line, still waiting for my superpowers for that
to happen, follow the red line for my route via Prince George and Fort St. John
More mountains, trees and rivers
The black stuff on the mountain is a forest (of trees)
