26. Toronto, Niagara Falls and Ann Arbor

Toronto or Trono as the locals say, Niagara Falls lots of water and Ann Arbor
University Town. Time to catch up with Family and Friends.

Rode from Chicago to Toronto via Port Huron, uneventful border crossing, got
stuck in a traffic jam on the freeway for 2 hours just out of Toronto, very warm.

I stayed with my Uncle and Aunt here, they made me very welcome, thank you
for your hospitality.

I rode to Ann Arbor from Toronto with a friend riding a BMW, following the
backroads along Lake Erie part of the way

We stopped at Port Dover, Lake Erie for lunch, that beach could be anywhere,
it is real.

Border crossing had a queue took an hour to get through
and coming the other way were the millions that cross the border to work
every day. After that road works through Detroit delayed things further.

I stayed with an old Friend and his Family in Ann Arbor, they made me very
welcome, thank you for your hospitality.
While there I serviced my bike and fitted a new tyre, the old one still had tread
but had developed a split or cut, nasty.

I also organised my ticket back to Perth and shipping for my bike as well,
a story in itself.
