Amish Country

After New York I needed a rest

After 2 weeks in New York I needed a rest so I rode to Lancaster and stayed just
out of the town in Ronks among the Amish farms for a week. Very peaceful.

I went on a day trip to the town of Hershey created by Hershey around his
Chocolate factory.
They had a tour of a simulated factory and lots of chocolate, I left with a few.

Another day trip to Gettysburg, a historic town, a very warm day, rode around
the battlefield, many monuments to the various military units that were involved.

Another day trip to a tourist town called Intercourse (you can imagine what the
Tourist T-shirts had on them).
The Amish don't like having their pictures taken so I took a couple of their
transport.

you paddled with your feet.
