We are an Australian couple from Cairns, Queensland, Australia mainly traveling 2 up on a Yamaha Super Tenere XTZ 750, fondly nicknamed Miss Adventure.

Real estate was our career in Cairns and we job shared with Belinda's brother Paul and his wife Jacqueline working for a year and traveling every second year for 10 years. 

We started this blog in 2002 during our 14 month trip in South America riding 2 up on a Yamaha Super Tenere.

2004 a year in Western Europe riding 2 up on a Yamaha Super Tenere. ; 

2006 a year in Eastern Europe  riding 2 up on a Yamaha Super Tenere.; 

2008 a year in The Middle East  2 riding up on a Yamaha Super Tenere.; 

2010 a year in Africa  2 riding up on a Yamaha Super Tenere which we then sold to a traveller. 

2011 we bought shares in a motorhome "Miss Adventure 6" in Canada and drove up to Alaska and down the Baja, Mexico:

2012 we bought shares in a Yamaha Super Tenere in Romania & drove it around Europe & housesitting in Switzerland; 

2013 found us in Sri Lanka on a HU members Bajaj cruiser 180cc we rented:

2014 back to Canada, USA and Mexico in our motorhome which we then sold to our shareholders;

2015 we purchased "Zora" a Suzuki Vstrom 650 in Rio, Brazil and rode over the north of South America and sold her to a traveller in                 Santiago Chile;

2016 we discovered cruising so cruised and airbnb'd  around the Caribbean; 

2017 We are back on the Super Tenere traveling down the east coast of Australia with a few cruises and housesits thrown in......

2018 Rode the Super Tenere from Syd- Adelaide via Tasmania. We then hopped on a CMV cruise from Sydney- England and circumnavigated   England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales over a 3 month period.

2019 Continue to ride our Super Tenere around Australia from Adelaide- Perth housesitting with the occassional last minute cruise thrown in!

Mainly due to GFC we retired from real estate in 2009 and have been traveling for 6 months a year ever since housesitting while traveling and running our airbnb from our inner city apartment in Cairns the other 6 months...
