12.08. Hastings - Worthing
Country

On Monday we rode to Worthing. On the way we stopped at beachy head. We were amazed by the view and walked up and down the cliffs. My vertigo provided an extra adrenaline rush for free.

The great view also lead to our only real dangerous left/right confusion of the entire tour. Leaving beachy head I turned into a right lane at a T-crossing. There was head traffic. Fortunately English drivers seem very polite and sane and everyone stopped and waved me into the correct lane. I kept apologizing to my pillion rider for 10 minutes straight. But nothing had happened and soon we arrived in Worthing.

Beautiful English Countryside

The town itself seemed rather boring, but we had a nice cream tea in the teahouse next to the old cinema and afterwards we had dinner with our wonderful airbnb hosts. Also our accomodation was very remarkable since it was a refurbished garden shed and very very cozy.

After a good nights sleep we continued the trip to Torquay.
