Compared to the last sections of our trip, we had a rather long ride ahead and we decided to take it easy. We had a lot of stops and ate on pretty much every stop. Very enjoyable way of travelling. One really beautiful surprise was when we suddenly rode past Stonehenge. It looked really nice and we were both quite happy we had seen it, but felt no need to stop for a closer look.
When we came closer to our stay for the night the way turned into single track roads with gravel and a lot of partridges running around. That was the most difficult motorcycle ride I‘ve mastered so far, but it was also a lot of fun due to the silly partridges running ahead of us.
Our place for the night was a shepherds lodge surrounded by fields with a very nice hottub. So we rode to the next village, grabbed what we needed for dinner and breakfast, along with a nice bottle of sparkly and had ourselves a fantastic evening.
We were also quite excited, because on the next day we would ride into London.
