There was a BMW dealer in Cabo San Lucas but they were closed until Jan 2. We just missed getting the last free tickets for Sammy Haggar`s New Year`s concert party.

We had a fun New Year`s party. George can really play that banjo.

I finally got to ride George`s new toy, but I still get freaked out by sand.

The day finally came when my bike was ready and it was time to say goodbye.

Good memories.
Then it was off to get the bike which still did not start although I was told the bike was `listo`or ready. It seems it needed a new battery but no one thought to actually order a new one or even tell me it needed one. I ended up buying a used one fo $20.

So I turned north up the west coast of Baja Sur towards Todos Santos. George told me about a great place called Art & Beer. A real oasis.


The next morning in La Paz I went back to the same girl who I had been dealing with twice before. I knew I would have to pay more to use my old ticket but now there are now beds on the ferry to Mazatlan. I ended up buying a ticket to Topoblampo just to get out of Baja.
