Today the team traveled from Ljubljana Slovenia to Ptuj Slovenia. 172ks.
Light drizzle and some rain was the order for the day. The guys broke camp in light drizzle and went into town to see a large market. Always trying to sample the local cusine, Fran chose a couple of tasty looking pastenes, lightly dusted with icing sugar. It turned out to be heavy dough deep fried and filled with sour clotted cheezey stuff inside that looked and smelt days old and tasted weeks old! Fran did not get to see the second mouthful but the others all got to see the first one again as reverse peristelsis kicked in and it all ended up back in the bag again! strangely enough the whole crews appetite for breakfast dissappeared in a SPIT second! They had a look around Castle before heading East in steady rain. They got an apartment at a thermal spa resort, had a hot swim at the pool then treated themselves to a cheap dinner from a supermarket.
