May 5 Saillagouse France - Vernet les Bains France 60 km Snowing this morning but snow ploughs out early to clear the roads. Had a walk around the village before breakfast.
Left cautiously and soon realised that we had stopped just in time the night before. From where we turned back the road went down into a gulley which we probably wouldn't have got back up again and then climbed another 300m. The snow on the side of the road was now really deep. We passed a tractor trying to pull an artic truck back onto the road that had slid off the road. Got to Deb & Alistars for lunch.
