Day 9
Country

To Santiago de Compostela

I woke up early. Coffee under the moon and stars. Creates very special memories.

Later, when packing, the guy in the tent next to be were also packing. He was on bicycle. He came with ferry from England the day before. Firts night of his trip. He was headed for Rome. On bicycly. Impressing.

The road started as nice autovia. I headed for Ferrol to keep close to the coast. Very nice views. Tge fog was still embedding the montains. And the ocean on the other side. After some hours, the road was closed due to fog. I had to use a N road. That was a nice alternative. Really twisty road up and down the hills.

Aftet Ferrol, going towards Santiago de Compostela was a really nice road to drive.

I found the camping at 4 pm. So I had time to take the 3 km walk to the Cathedral. Not much of a pilgrim walk 🙂. (But around 4 000 km with the bike).

The plan was to be walking around in Santiago tomorrow and drive to Finisterra the day after. But the weather forecast does not seem to support my plans.🙁
