I woke up early and checked weather forecast. Rain on the way. So I prepared my coffee and packed before the rain. 

The driving started easy but slow. 60 and 80 km/h speed limit. But little traffic. Nice riding. I was thinking about the trip 1980. We did 800 km from Lubeck to Strasbourg in one day. With heavy rain in the late part. Why did I push so hard? That was the only nigth during that 3 weeks trip that we did not use the tent. We needed a hostel to get dry. We were all wet.

Later there was a lot of traffic. And road construction work. Very fast changes in the traffic. So I needed to have full concentration the whole time. No time to look around or think about anything else than traffic.

1980 we tried to visit the famous car collection in Mulhouse. But it was not open for visitors. But today I took a turn into  Mulhouse. And the museum was open. So I do my visit after 39 years. Tick in the box. It was absolutely fantastic. I recomend it. Both for the cars and the story behind.

Now I will reduce driving and start to discover and experience. Plan is to drive small roads to Lousanne. And relax some.
