Albanian drivers continued to be "challenging", out of their cars though people really couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Pulled into a petrol station in Durres and the attendant points to the front of my bike - coolant is spraying out of the radiator 😭

We ask the guy if there's a service garage anywhere close and this starts a couple of hours of finding a garage who can weld up the radiator. Every single person, about 9 in total, went above and beyond. Despite language difficulty, people phoned around for us, led the way in cars to places they thought could help, offered us hospitality and helped top the bike up with water when it overheated. We eventually got led to motorbike garage run by Tony. Bike fixed in 3 hours while we had lunch. We're sent on our way with grapes and tomatilloes from his mother's garden👍

Made it to shkoder by about 18:00 very relieved

Headed off to Montenegro Tuesday and have had a couple of relaxing days in Kotor, a really beautiful place especially in the evening when the cruise tourists have gone and it's quiet. Boat trip round the bay is well worth it
