First injuries of the tour, we managed to get sun burnt on our day on the beach 🥵

Left the Black sea coast with a  blast to Plodiv on main roads, a couple of days to relax in a really nice town. Interesting old town and a really nice feel to the place. Lots of history from prehistoric finds, Thracian and Roman on the seven hills to 19th century Ottoman houses in the old town.

More twisty roads on leaving Plovdiv with a ride down to Dospat past the reservoirs with a stop in at the Soviet car museum in Pestera. The II 37 is a great biking road

A night over in a spa hotel in Velingrad where we are treated very well, "come and park your bikes on the pedestrian bit outside reception"

More great roads up to Rila monastery, riding round the one land slip closing half the road
