Denmark and Sweden
What can we say about Denmark? It really is a great little place with wonderful people and great beer.
Our first campsite beside the sea is serene and beautiful.
The lady at reception welcomes us in faultless English and we sit by a lake in the warm sun after our first day in "Europe"
The country is famous for Lego and Lurpak. Not much else. In Copenhagen they have signs up for the Eurovision Song Contest and we see a countdown clock and a film crew or two filming the streets and perhaps some contestants.
We head to Sweden over the Oresund bridge, famous for the detective TV series "The Bridge" what a spectacularly to cross water! Just to say that it is big is an understatement. It is awe inspiring, that's what it is.
And miraculously we are now in Sweden. Our second time to change the clocks and our second country.
The ferry tomorrow is off to Estonia and two days in Tallinn.A huge thank you to our lovely hosts in Waxholm,Ann-Marie and Ole. We were SO cold when we arrived. They took us in and warmed us up.
Also to Ylva and Anders who solved our problems with the bike and the computer. They even flew a Union Jack from their flagpole to make us welcome.
