Update

Monday (bank holiday)
We awoke to a steady drizzle and another damp morning, because of this we decided to have a cuppa pack away our gear and head off.
Bikes loaded we were ready to go but first we had our good byes to say and thank the "LES GUEULES DE CHIEN" club for looking after us so well. this done we were ready to roll, when much to our surprise the club members lined up and gave us a hearty round of applause as we rode off, a very nice touch, not a dry eye in the house!
The ride down the mountain was uneventful except for the mind boggling views of which i was to see a lot of in the next few weeks.
The next part of our journey was to ride to Bourg St Maurice where Julie lived with her boyfriend. Dave and Mick were to stay at Julies flat while i was to stay at the local campsite.
Bourg St Maurice is a medium sized town near the Swiss and Italian Alps, a mecca for skiers in the winter and a outdoor centre in the summer months, and a good area for biking.
The ride to BSM was pleasant as the sun was making it warmer, views once more just !!!!!!!!!!!! wow.
On arrival in BSM we sat outside a caf'e and drank a cold beer, lovely. Then it was time for Rocket and my self to set off for our campsite. Itwas only a short ride once i was booked in and the tent and other wet stuff laid out to dry, the kettle boiled tea made,i took the time to take Rocket for a walk and check out the showers etc, All in very good order including a ice making machine. Back to our plot all the gear had dryed, Rocket found a sunny spot and had anap while i set up Camp.
