A day shopping

That evening it was a walk through the woods which i enjoyed unlike England i
never once felt unsafe no matter what time of the day or night it was. I meet up with the rest of the crew at the bar, as tonight Mick was to be the chef!, after many hours searching the local supermarkets and food shops he had all he needed for one of his now famous curry's. First of all the chef needed a beer or three to get himself ready to cook and rock and roll. Back to Julies were we all sat outside with a glass of red wine while Mick sweated over a hot cooker. Once again i was just blown away as the mountains shone under the light of the moon, the sky full of stars, good company and free flowing wine did help a lot Mmmmn.
The food arrived more wine served and a hearty meal enjoyed, ta Mick.
Time for me to head home, strange to think that home was now a small tent in the French Alps. So to bed and a good nights sleep.

The morning arrived with the sun shining most of the time on non bike days the dress was t-shirt and shorts and crocs on the feet, i was starting to tan and deep done inside i was so relaxed no worries mate! The other thing was the smell of mountain air, it takes a time before you realise that what you are breathing in, lovely.

Today's plan was to have a day off the bikes to do some shopping for presents. So myself Dave and Mick went around the local shops most of them were just tourist type places as you would find in any Holiday type of town, all kinds of souvenirs, cards, silly hats etc. After a while the boys needed a fag so i suggested we sat outside the bar, we could just have a coke! once seated as it was warm and we were on holiday i went for a cold beer, cheaper than coke too, well go Mick said i will join you, which forced Daves hand so the order was three beers and water for Rocket. I will say the French do look after our canine friends, Rocket was getting tit-bits, he even had his own table in the bar if it got to warm for him outside, its a dogs life!! Well cold beer followed cold beer, a snack or two washed down with a cold beer, time was spent watching the pretty girls and Boys!! pass bye sun shine what more do you need. After some time Julie who had been at work arrived with a few friends so we had yes you have guessed right a BEER. The next part of the plan was to go out and have a meal.
