Update
Once the camp was sorted, it was time to walk to Julies for some food. My route was along side the river in a pleasant wood, through a park, past the railway station and into the shopping area and what was to become our Local The CAFE FIORA. Where the rest of the gang were having a beer or two before food. The cafe owner and all of his staff where all very help full and provided a good service. With the beer came snacks olives slices of smoked ham and Walkers crisps lovely!!
After dinner at Julies, it was time for Rocket and my self to head towards our new home. The weather was fine and the walk back was very relaxing, Rocket was dying to get into the river for a swim, but that would not to be tonight.
Back in the tent it was a bit chilly but once i was into my sleeping bag and the small dog was under my jacket we both curled up and slept the sleep of the dead.
We awoke the next day to a bright morning and a view of the mountains, still with a good covering of snow on the higher peaks what a view ! Lovely. First job was kettle on for tea and cornflakes for breakfast. After which Rocket and i went for our morning walk through the woods. The rest of the day was spent shopping at the local supermarket, which was just a short stroll across the road, from the site . Also on the same park was a few small shops, petrol station and a bar which also served good food, and had computers with free internet. We had a stroll around the town to get to know our way around and stopped for a cool beer too. I was getting into the cafe culture of France and enjoying it.
