No sooner had one set of Shim Whittler's left when up turns, Malc, Brian and B, also on a touring holiday. It was getting more like home every day! That night we went out to watch a band and then a meal after wards (kebab). The band was good and we all had a turn singing pretty badly. Then we all headed off for food, Lucy and her sister joined us. The meal was going well till Malc nearly caused an International incident over a bottle of wine! Which I had to deal with, it did mean another bottle of wine had to be purchased and drank, of course. Well fed and watered we all made our separate ways home.

The next morning I rode up to Julies then me and Malc went to the bar for breakfast. Next to the bar was a bakery where we got some croissants, then sat outside the bar, ordered coffee and sat eating while sparrows flew around eating any crumbs left over. It was once again a hot summer’s day. After that we walked back to Julie’s via the local market, where you could buy anything from a cabbage to a live duck or rabbit.
Today’s plan was a club ride out up over the mountains, and to try and get a rear tyre for Malc’s bike. Crag and Alison were to join us.

All ready we set off once more for another classic day of bikes, good roads, great weather and of course good company what more could us mere mortals need?
