Update
We left Catamaco Lake, home for witch doctors, this morning for Villahermosa, a 200 mile ride. Larry, here we are having fun.
Luckily, we met a gentleman riding a F800GS. He got us heading in the right direction to Villahermosa. We had lunch together at a gas stop tienda. It was very good. He works for Pemex. Pemex is the government controlled service stations. We passed over this impressive bridge.
After awhile we were on our own. Another hot day-90s. Entering Villahermosa, a city of 700,000 people we saw four accidents. Minor fender benders. One guy lost a large dump truck load of sand. That was fun driving across, also. But finally, after several tries, we found a Best Western ($57.00). How about this pool!
Tomorrow, October 9th, we head to Escarcega. Probably will not be able to communicate. Then on Saturday, October 10th, we will be in Chetumal. This Mexican town borders Belize. Take care.
