Update

Well we are on our way to Dusseldorf, Germany. Lynn insisted on taking a picture of the aircraft taking off. I am sure we will connect up soon.

The airline industry has a new theory. Sell seats for children to adults. Then you don't eat so much, drink so much, and use the bathroom so much. It worked on me. However, it took two days to reach my full height again. I asked for an upgrade. However, the adult seats were $1500.00 per person. We had a nice stay in Dusseldorf. It was fun going to the out door restaurant. The next day we took a train to Heidelberg. Now, we could have gone straight there on a 165 mph train. No, that is not for me, I wanted the milk run. We stopped in every small town and waited for the cows to get off the tracks. We, and others I might add, got off on the wrong stop. We flagged a taxi down and made it to the train station just in time to wave good bye to our train. They gave us new tickets. When I got on the train, I remember that I had to validate the ticket. Jumped off, with Lynn in tow, and found the validation machine. That is so you can't use the ticket but once. You fail to do that then you must pay an on the spot fine of $60 to $100.00. After validating the ticket, we were just in time to wave good bye to the train. After the train master stopped rolling on the floor, we got new tickets. To add salt to the wound, he said we didn't have to validate these tickets. We got to Stefan's without further incident. Went to dinner. I tought I would try my best German. I ordered bratwurst. The waitress, in perfect English, advised me that this wasn't a hotdog stand. So, I ordered "Deer Ragout". She again advised me, with a smile on her face, that it is pronouced "Ragoo not Ragout". So, I order the "Special". Stefan is on solar energy. The government pays him $1600.00 a month to do this. That right, a month, not a one time tax break.
