Update

Well we are in England. Initially, we stayed at Croughton RAF Base. It was very small, quiet, and nice. What a driving experience. After three tries and a larger screw driver, Lynn was able to pry my fingers off the handle bars. Here is my conversation with a British biker. Remember bloke drive on the left side. Right shoulder pointing at center line. Since you are on the opposite side of the road, remember the inside lane is the slow lane. Always look right, left, right not left, right, left. So, off with you. As I was driving down the road and honoring the speed limit, so I thought, everyone was passing me, blowing their horns, and giving me some terrible looks. There I was driving 45 mph down the M-1 which is 4 lanes and worse that I-25. Hey, bloke is there something wrong with that bike. No, why? Pick up the speed. Well, I am just honoring your speed limits. That something you should do. 45 mph is not 70 mph!. This is not Europe, mate. Our speeds are in miles per hour not kilometers per hour. Our distances are in miles not kilometers. However, we do measure things using the metric system.
We visited Bath. Famous for the Roman Thermal Bath facilities.

Just up the street is the Circus. They are now offices and apartments.

Then there was Stonehenge. An alien's prank.

After, several days of rest and rehashing the English driving system, we took off to Scotland. We stayed in Edinburgh at a Catholic retreat center. It was very nice.

We then visited the Edinburgh Castle. The Castle sets on one hill while the Palace faces it on the 2nd hill. It is separated by the Royal Mile.

We walked the Royal mile.

We then visited the Royal Holyroodhouse Palace built over 500 years ago. Mary Queen of Scot lived here. It is used by the Queen as a palace to conduct summer business. Sean Connery was knighted there.

The abbey connected to the Palace is almost 1000 years old.

We are heading to the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Ripley. That is Ripley, Derbyshire which is 75 miles from Derby, Yorkshire, where I was looking for our hotel and the meeting all day long. There are five Ripleys. I hope there is only one English Channel. I know there is only 1 English channel in Europe on TV.
