Well if the start of the journey is the beginning of the planning stage I have spent a long time getting here.

Wanted to ride Africa since my teens so 40 years ago, done little bits of it but now for the big one.

Bike bought, mods and bits almost done but loving the work of making and fitting them, work approaching an end and no job = time to go.
