Decided not to use computer dates as they are very random at the moment. Spent the last few days visiting museums and avoiding the rain. Went to the Dias

museum, replica of the boat he sailed around Africa in, think a Thames barge is bigger. Brilliant place and some excellent stained glass windows.

Also found some of the worlds most beautiful flower in the gardens,

Rode many passes in the other direction today, just been going up a pass, turn left, down a pass, turn right repeatedly, fantastic riding and managed 420km with 210 riding the passes. Once again the geology was brilliant, folded rocks, sandstones, slate and chalk layers it looked like.

All most passed out. Then headed south for the Southern-most point in Africa, better than I thought and worth the 50km ride to reach it. Sea was beautiful, lots of colours.
