Off to the sunshine.Headed off at 8 for the sunshine coast in rain and mist. Weather lady said it was going to be sunny westwards.
Rode down the main road until I got bored then took the old main road the 102, that kept me awake, mud, oil, diesel, manure, mud and potholes. Rode as far as a place called Storm River, great gorge, bridge, big tree and a Marilyn Monroe restaurant where I had lunch.
Storm Gorge, there is actually a river down there.
Forgot the camera, a few half cars, old bikes Wurlitzer that worked and played old classics or rubbish.
They do a tree top tour here so will try to get on it tomorrow along with the big tree?? Had to fit a new front tube and the old tyre from Botswana, it has 3mm of tread on it, 2 mm more than the one removed. In a workshop 1 hour on the side of the road 4?? Wore vinyl gloves to do it and when I removed them I poured the water out and my hands were all wrinkled.
God I love this touring in the mid 30s, sweat just sitting, at least the drips lubricated the tyre fitment.
Sure found the sunshine today.
