Monday 27th April

The weather was better today so I took the opportunity to ride up to Hurricane Ridge before checking out of the motel. I stopped off at the Rangers station to check the road conditions but I was to early and they said it was open but did not know if it was icy as they had not been up there yet, they said there is still snow up there but should be OK. The road was damp and I was keeping an eye on the temp and taking it very easy towards the top as the temperature was close to freezing but thankfully the road was not icy.

The views from the top were fantastic. I took a few pics before getting back on the bike and back to the warm.

We then rode on through Forks had a look at a small timber museum and then carried on towards Aberdeen where we were planning on stopping for the night until we got there and decided to just keep going we ended up back in Ilwaco. After checking in we went across the road to the Sea Hag bar and grill to eat. It was a strange place the barman was also the chef and the kitchen was at the end of the bar. We decided to have a drink as well and got poured the biggest measures yet there was barely any room for the coke.
We got chatting to some locals who were very entertaining, I lost track of how many drinks we had and don't remember leaving.

Tuesday 28th April
I woke up this morning feeling a little rough. As we were both feeling rough we decided not to go far today as Ilwaco is a small town with very little in it we decided to head off, we eventually got the bike loaded and left at about 10:45 we only managed 31 miles. We are in Seaside Oregon having a lazy day.
