Who switched on the child magnet
Country

Monday 16th Nov.
I got woken up at about 6 this morning by a load of screaming kids who seemed to think that running around the only tent on the campsite and tripping over my tent pegs and lines was good fun. There was a whole coach load of the little buggers running around screaming and shouting with the people in charge blowing whistles and shouting even louder than they were. I did plan on having an easy day lazing around but thought staying here was no longer a good idea, but as the sun was out I got up packed up and headed off, Stopped off at a seal sanctuary but the seals were all out for breakfast. Met a bunch of about 10 bikers there on rental bikes who were heading the other way. From there I took the Great coast road to Greymouth, its a road that equals the Big Sur in California, a twisty undulating coast road with stunning views on both sides. That said it probably betters the big sur as there is little to no traffic. It was a little cold despite the sun being out. And my Legs, arms and shoulders were beginning to seize up from yesterday and by the time I reached Greymouth I decided to call it a day.  I really did not fancy the tent tonight so I have splashed out on a room with hopefully a comfy bed at one of the campsites. $76 for a bed and a shared bathroom, daylight robbery lol. Still its on the beach, once unpacked I took a walk along the beach, not the sort of beach you would go swimming in, very rough and despite smothering my self with insect repellent my hands and arms have been fed upon by sand fliesI. Seeing as I had a room I tried to remove the top box rather than leave it out on the bike but all that bouncing around on the Porika Trail  has bent the locking mechanism and it is stuck fast and will be staying on the bike. I had my own kitchen with pots and pans so took a trip to the supermarket and could not decide what to cook so I went to the pub and had fish and chips and a pint.
