Took my bike to the freight yard today where it will be crated and air freighted to Orlando. It felt very strange wheeling my bike in to the warehouse and handing over the key. Starting to feel a little nervous now. It's not a dream anymore.
Got home to find an email from the freight company saying that there is a freight embargo between the 5th - 9th of Fenruary and that they will be freighting my bike out for the 4th. And I will have to pay a storage charge while it is there. They are assuming it may be £30 a day but do not know, I have tried to contact them and ask them why they not just send it out for the 10th as we will not be arriving until the afternoon of the 9th so won't be able to collect it until the 10th especially as apparently on our arrival I have to go and buy a claw hammer and chisel to remove the bike from the crate. Then bribe some one at the warehouse to dispose of the crate for me. LOL
