We can't quite work out the best way to get motels some of the deals you can get online seem to be unbeatable compared to just walking in and asking the rates, but that requires Internet and that's not always available, we have also found out that if you just turn around and say sorry it's beyond our budget they often drop a few dollars but not always, we have tried looking up the rates then walking in but they have gone up and they won't reduce them so we went elsewhere. Next time that happens we are going to go and book it online(if we can find wifi) Today We decided to book this cheap motel outside of San Francisco as it's an expensive place to stay and a lot of them did not have parking, but we should of done a drive by first as we would of kept on driving. Even though the bike is within a gated car park and just outside the room I keep getting up to check it's still there and has its wheels. The noise out in the streets of people shouting, cars driving by with loud stereos, screeching tyres and revving engines has been going on since about 22:0 It's now 00:55 and it seems to be getting louder. I quite fancy popping my head out and having a look to see what's going on but to say we would stand out like a pork chop at a Jewish wedding is an understatement? Also the policeman that stopped us today did not speak highly of where we were staying and I don't like the idea of being locked the other side of that gate.
