Dr Evermor's Forevertron

Sunday 5th July
Another sunny day, loading the bike up this morning outside the hotel was covered in a swarm of dead or dying insects. Apparently they were fishfly's and they have this problem throughout the months of July and August and have to clean them up nearly every day.

Heading for Milwaukee today via Dr Evermor's Forevertron, sculptures made from assorted scrap metal. The main sculpture is massive and is called the Forevertron. There are hundreds of sculptures of all shapes and sizes made from anything he could get his hands on.

From there we headed off to Milwaukee, it's been a good day's riding through miles of corn fields with a few twisty roads thrown in for good measure. We stopped off about 70 miles from Milwaukee and got chatting to a fellow biker who invited us for dinner but as it meant turning around and riding away from our destination we decided to decline the offer. The clock is ticking and time is running out, we have visited 32 states and covered over 25000 miles so far, less than a month to go and we will be back in England.
