Agonda Beach (Goa)

After our first bungalow on the beach, we don't want to settle for less. We search on different beaches to find a seaside bungalow. Unfortunately, most of the beaches have seaside beach shags and the hotels are located behind them.
Eventually we ended up in Agonda. During our quest here we are approached by a Belgian man. Later, it turned out he (Lucas) and his wife (May) have driven around the world on their bicycle. This was a few years ago but today they are still avid travellers.
Lucas offers us immediately to put up our tent at his rented home. Here we meet his wife and some of their friends. We have a pleasant evening in good company with good food. The next day we look for a seaside bungalow.

Our Seaside Bungalow

Lucas has a motorcycle here in India and the next day we go for a ride around the area. They have been coming here for many years so they know the area like the back of their hand. They also show us a place where we can strengthen our luggage rack.

We and Luc & May Ready for Our Trip

For the rest we enjoy the sun, sea, beach and fine company.
Agonda is a really nice place to stay. It's a tad more expensive but still affordable. There are also more luxurious bungalows located on the beach than in Arambol and it's much quieter.
Party animals can find everything they need on the next beach, Palolem Beach. Here, there are often parties with headphones, so-called “silent parties”.
Lucas, Maria, Mira, Neil, Alex and Hilde....thanks for the wonderful days.
