First Day In Cambodia

We first drive to Kratie, which is a famous tourist destination. Once there, we don’t like it very much, except for the boulevard on the Mekong. We continue to Sen Monorom, the capital of the province Monorom. We arrive there in the dark. Just in time for the violent storm, we find a room.

Along the Way

In Cambodia the roads are not so good, most roads are just dirt roads. We start to think about the rainy season and how we don’t want to get stuck again like before in Laos. Especially in the more remote areas, it’s not a good plan to leave the main road. We decide to go to the south, which is more developed. A bit of a shame though because it looks like a beautiful province. What we noticed immediately in Cambodia are the pyjamas worn by many women.

Maybe They Love Pyjama Parties?

On our way to the south, we stop for a few days in Phnom Penh. During our stay here, we’ll apply for our Thai visa and go to a European mechanic.
