We have one more week before we go back to Belgium and decide to go back to our favourite places in Bali. We book another five nights in our first hotel in Lovina. We enjoy doing nothing and talking with other guests. We only leave our hotel to go eat in our restaurant and one evening, we went to see a children’s dance at a local school. On our last night in Lovina, we enjoy a self-made cocktail: we never drank a cocktail at the pool (like you see in the movies).

After Lovina, we stay another two nights in Candidasa where unfortunately, we aren’t alone this time. We share the pool with the other guests and play a game of Monopoly on our balcony.

We also spend a day at Sanur , a popular town with a white beach. We find a nice room at Booking.com, but the beach appears to be a setback: in the afternoon it is low tide so you can’t swim with all the coral sticking out. We take a walk on the walking path that runs just next to the beach. After waking up and a nice breakfast, we go to the beach where we enjoy a dip and a nice walk on the white sand (and yet some stones).

We end up where we started, in Denpasar. We stay two nights here before we go to Belgium. From here we visit one last beach in the south of Bali, Padang Padang Beach. It is a small, white beach between the rocks and has a really nice atmosphere.

We don’t have much time because we have to go back to the hotel to prepare for our departure the next day.
After we said goodbye to Mickey, a man from the hotel takes us to the airport in Denpasar, where we take the plane to Jakarta. In Jakarta, we have half a day waiting for our flight home and fill the time with writing our blog.
