Around noon we leave Khao Lak. On the way we drive a bit through the Khao Sok National Park which looks amazing. We go to Koh Phangan which is an island so we have to take a ferry to reach it.

On the Ferry to Koh Phangan

While sailing we write Facebook messages to Max and Alina, a German couple from the Myanmar group, who are already on the island. When we arrive, they welcome us at the pier and together we drive to the beach where they are staying: Than Sadet. It is dark on arrival, so it’s only the next day we see how beautiful it is.

Than Sadet is an ideal place for relaxing and chilling, sunbathing and paddling. We enjoy the good food, give attention to the puppies running around and chat with Max and Alina. Our stay at Than Sadet ends with an all you can eat BBQ… Yummy!
In the meantime, we had made plans to go hiking around the island, to discover the rest of the beauty of this place.
