In the hotel we were given a different room than last time and we are not satisfied. The bathroom stinks, there is no window, the two twin beds are of a different height, the light switch is in the hallway and all this for the same price. The next morning, we ask for a different room otherwise we're going to look for someplace else. Somebody checks out and we get the room, it’s much better although the light switch is also in the hallway (how is that possible?). In the evening we are treated to pastries from the staff, martabak, which is a kind of bread with butter and chocolate. Yummy. It's Sunday, so we have to wait until tomorrow to pick up our Carnet. We take rest after the long drives on the bike the last few days. The next day we don’t want to leave too early, in the hope that it will be quieter on the roads in the evening now the weekend is passed.

In the afternoon we go to pick up our Carnet. Apparently, the extension is done for free. We start our journey towards Garut and again it takes many hours to drive only 250 km. When we are almost in Garut, we search the internet for a hotel, again we find only expensive hotels. We decide to search a little bit or else we'll go camping. We seem to be lucky as the second hotel we check is all right. At night, Kevin gets very ill and in the morning he doesn’t feel any better. We pay for two extra nights so Kevin can recover.
