In a few days it's Kevin's birthday and he chooses to celebrate on Gili Trawangan. On arrival in Bali, we rent a scooter and drive towards the island. Here we enjoy the sun, the sea and the beach at our previous bungalow. Balimoon is still here and enjoys our company. On Kevin's birthday, we discover a new spot on Gili: we follow the path to the viewpoint and arrive on the grazing fields with sights over Gili Meno and Gili Air. It’s really a beautiful spot.

We celebrate Kevin's birthday with a few cocktails and we eat a nice bbq-steak. After Kevin's birthday, we return to Bali, where we go back to Lovina. After 2.5 weeks the holiday is over and it’s time to fly back to Darwin. Kevin's foot is almost entirely healed so hopefully, it won’t take long until we can get our first Australian job...
